  • Matthew 27:3 - When Judas, His betrayer, saw that Jesus was condemned, he was gripped with remorse and returned the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and the elders,

  • John 13:29 - Some thought that, since Judas [as the treasurer of the group] had the money box, Jesus was telling him, “Buy what we need for the feast,” or that he was to give something to the poor.
  • John 13:30 - After taking the piece of bread, he went out immediately; and it was night.
